The
purpose of this course is, to explain the concept of “gender mainstreaming”,,
to peacekeeping personnel at Headquarters and in missions.
This
gender course offered concrete guidance on how to identify the various gender
issues in peacekeeping and how to integrate or mainstreaming, gender into all
aspect of peacekeeping.
This
improve the effectiveness with which peacekeeping operations discharge their mandate,
therefore, integral to their success.
