About POTC: Peace Operations Training Center ( POTC ) is one of the institutes and schools of the Jordanian Armed Forces ( JAF ) that is affiliated with the Directorate of Military Training, and is based on training and qualifying members of JAF and security department and members of brotherly and friendly countries in various UN peace operations and the law of armed conflict or international humanitarian law. POTC is distinguished by the fact that it carries a noble humanitarian message that establishes the principles of justice and supports the concept of international peace and security. POTC is considered one of the most prestigious institutes in JAF, and thanks to our wise leadership, this institute has been made a regional institute for the region through continuous support, and providing it with everything it needs, starting with a competent trainer and ending with all the requirements for the training process. Most of the courses are held at POTC that help participants in the international forces carry out the tasks assigned to them in the best possible way, and these courses teach modern United Nations curricula, as is the case in international institutes. Training at The POTC focused on pre-deployment training for participants before to be deployed on various UN mission areas. After that, the training was expanded to other more specialized training for officers and NCO. Following our worldwide operational success, a new training strategy was developed providing courses participants with the necessary skills to work professionally and efficiently in UN peacekeeping environment.
